Attorney Elizabeth A. Edwards has her office for the general practice of law at 992 Danbury Road, Wilton, Connecticut. Ms. Edwards has been in private practice for twenty-one years, starting her own firm in 1990. Her areas of concentration include family law, real estate and probate and estate. With a strong and loyal client base, her professional services include divorce, both contested and uncontested as well as mediation and collaborative divorce; real estate purchases and sales; preparation of wills and trust agreements and probate matters.
Attorney Edwards is a 1985 graduate of Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York where she received honors for her work in Labor Arbitration. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Stamford/Norwalk Regional Bar Association, the Danbury Bar Association and the Wilton Chamber of Commerce. Attorney Edwards is also active in the Wilton/Georgetown community and has served on the Wilton Democratic Town Committee, the Conservation Commission, Wilton Historic District Commission, the Wilton Student Financial Aid Committee, Inc. and the Georgetown Community Association. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut as well as the U. S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the U. S. Supreme Court.
Ms. Edwards was raised in Fairfield, Connecticut and moved to the Georgetown section of Wilton in 1983. She resided in Georgetown for sixteen years and opened her practice there in 1990. She continues to reside in Wilton.
Ms. Edwards is known for her ability to balance complex emotional and financial issues while pursuing those solutions that best support her clients' interests. She is certified in Collaborative Divorce and Divorce Mediation.
