Donaldson

William Donaldson, CFP®, EA, CDFA™ is co-founder and partner of The Vista Companies, a group of financial services firms located in Westport, CT. He is also a founding member and President of the Collaborative Divorce Team of CT.

In addition to the Certified Financial Planner™, Enrolled Agent and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ designations, Mr. Donaldson is also a Registered Investment Advisor and a Registered Securities Principal. He has received advanced training in both divorce mediation and the Collaborative Divorce process. Mr. Donaldson focuses his practice on assisting divorcing couples or individuals through the the financial issues of divorce, helping them make informed decisions by explaining both the short and long-term financial impact of their decisions.

He serves on the board of directors of the Association of Divorce Financial Planners and is Co-President of the CT Council for Divorce Mediation and Collaborative Practice. He is also a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, and is a member of the family law section of the CT Bar Association.
