Louise R. Zito is a family law attorney admitted in Connecticut, New York and Federal Courts. She has been practicing since 1985 and is a founding member of the Connecticut Family Mediation Training Group (CFMTG). She is a Marketing Director for Insured Support.

Louise is committed to helping individuals divorce in a peaceful, respectful manner; allowing them to maintain stable relationships and to successfully co-parent after their divorce. Using advocacy, not adversity, she assists clients through the Collaborative process to address pre-nuptial, divorce and post-nuptial matters. She is a passionate advocate for her clients and believes deeply in interdisciplinary approaches such as collaborative divorce and co-mediation. Zito understands that "one size does not fit all" and will use the approach best suited for each client, one that ensures her clients' interests are met.

Attorney Zito has been mediating family issues for 25 years and practicing Collaborative Divorce for 14 years.

Louise trains Attorneys, Mental Health and Financial Specialists in Mediation: basic and advanced. She has lectured at Quinnipiac School of Law and taught at Quinnipiac University, business school as an adjunct professor.

Louise finds great fulfillment in training future mediators as well as experienced mediators. She also enjoys her work with Insured Support, protecting support payments when the payor loses his or her job.
