Allisan Lee Adams

For thirty years I have been representing clients through the divorce process. Currently I dedicate my family practice to non-adversarial methods—mediation and collaboration—so that I can assist clients in achieving an amicable process with dignity. In addition, I can assist in handling real estate transactions and revising estate planning documents post dissolution of marriage. I aim to provide pleasant, prompt and precise legal assistance to all clients.

While my undergraduate degree is from Wellesley College (B,A.), where I graduated Magna Cum Laude, I also studied at MIT, Amherst College and in Switzerland. I earned my J.D. at the University of Connecticut School of Law.

Memberships vary annually as follows: Connecticut Bar Association; Divorce Solutions of Connecticut; Collaborative Divorce Team of CT, Cheshire; International Academy of Collaborative Professionals; Cheshire, Madison, Clinton and Old Saybrook Chambers of Commerce. In the past I served as Vice President and Board Member of Project Quetzal (an Orphanage in Guatemala), Board of Directors of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven, and served as a Family Readiness and Support Group Leader of the 143rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion of the Army National Guard of Waterbury. I am a Delegate Member of Hadassah.
