What is Collaborative Divorce?

Welcome to the Collaborative Divorce Team of Connecticut's web site and thank you for visiting. We are a group of multi-disciplinary professionals committed to bringing a better, more respectful divorce process to the people of Connecticut. This process is called Collaborative Divorce. Collaborative Divorce (CD) was developed over fifteen years ago to achieve a positive outcome for a divorcing couple that minimizes the negative economic, social and emotional consequences the family often experiences in the traditional adversarial divorce process. It's an efficient way for a couple to divorce in a private, respectful manner that is focused on improving communication, preserving assets and protecting children with minimal conflict.

Specially trained attorneys that provide legal guidance and support during the process.

Facilitates the settlement conferences and provides structure and neutrality.
